Our mission is to create, build, and maintain programs dedicated to the care, education, and development of children and youth during their out of school time. Emphasis is placed on promoting positive life skills through community service and enrichment-based programming. We dedicate ourselves to providing the finest before and afterschool care in the city! The children and youth in our care are regularly exposed to diversity, arts, music, science, cooking, nature, community service, active and group games, and much, much more.

Our 5 quality before and/or afterschool programs are located throughout the city of Portland:
Kidscorner for K-4th grade and in SW Portland at the Portland Jewish Academy (Afterschool care ONLY);
Kidspace for K-5th grade in NW Portland at Forest Park Elementary School;
Kidsplace for K-7th grade in NW Portland at Skyline Elementary School;
Kidzone for K-7th grade in SE Portland at Glencoe Elementary School.
Dragon’s Den for 5th-7th grade in SW Portland at the Portland Jewish Academy (Afterschool Care only);
We serve children and families from public, private, charter schools as well as some who are home schooled. Each program provides care for groups of 10-60 children every day with lower than state standard teacher to child ratios, providing for both better quality care and more opportunities for children and staff.

The afterschool care employment staff shifts vary depending upon the program site and position level. All of our afterschool programs operate between the hours of 2:00 - 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday, from the first day of school in September through the last week of school in June.

Prior to employment in our afterschool programs, any potential candidate must first be enrolled in the Oregon Central Background Registry before we can hire! This is required by Oregon Law.
Through the State of Oregon webpage you can enroll online, quick and easy… https://ssl7.emp.state.or.us/ccd/
