Cafe at the J is Portland's only kosher dairy restaurant certified by Oregon K and offers sandwiches, soups, salads, pizza, falafel, pasta, bagels, and more! It is located inside the MJCC. Surf the net while you enjoy the new cafe. We offer free wireless Internet access.

Our regular menu offers a variety of breakfast options, as well as salads and sandwiches to entice you along with power bars, sports drinks and waters to satisfy your post-workout needs.

The Kosher cafe is open:

• Sunday: 9:30 am - 4:00 pm (limited menu)
• Monday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
• Tuesday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm; 5:30 - 8:00 pm (meat)
• Wednesday: 7:30 am - 8:00 pm
• Thursday: 7:30 am - 8:00 pm
• Friday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (depending upon Shabbat times)
• Saturday: Closed
  

Orders for Challah and Bagels must be received by Tuesday for pick-up on Friday

Weekdays from 2:30-3:30 pm all coffee drinks at the Café at the J are HALF OFF!  It’s Coffee Happy Hour!  Get that afternoon “pick-me-up” or decaf.  See you there!
