ARE YOU COMING TO THE SPAGHETTI DINNER?
This year's PJA/Hillel Academy Alumni & Friends Spaghetti Dinner is THE BIGGEST ONE YET! Many thanks to those of you who have already registered! If you're still thinking of coming and are planning to show up Sunday, COME EARLY to guarantee your spot!
And No Less Important...
TIME TO RETURN THOSE BOOKS!
Please return all outstanding library books by Tuesday, June 14 if possible.
4th-8th grade students may check their library account from home by opening Firefox (this works best; though Safari works too) and going to http://library.pjaproud.org
I will send home individual notices for Ganon-3rd grade if there are any outstanding items after Tuesday.
Any books that are lost will not be charged to your PJA account until Sept. 2011 (unless your child is graduating or leaving PJA.) This will allow you time to find them over the summer.
If you have any questions, please email Safranit Heidi at hslater@pjaproud.org.
Happy summer reading :-)
SUPPORTING AZRAEL'S WISH
The Mills-Koffel family would like to share this important information with the PJA community as it is such a big part of their lives (Aedan (5th grade) Azrael (pre-school) and Ari (toddler) are all at PJA). They just got city approval and have begun registration for the first annual 5k run/walk and toddler dash in support of a cure for Galactosemia with which Azrael is affected.

"We would be so moved if PJA would support us in this cause and have PJA students and staff walk for Azrael. We would LOVE her preschool friends to also walk in the toddler dash with her." - Melissa Mills-Koffel
They are hoping to raise money for research for Galactosemia leading to a cure. Most affected babies don't live to be a month old. Azrael continues to amaze us.
