Once again, our third graders created some beautiful synagogues.
Each year in third grade, the class studies synagogues, components of synagogues, historical versions of synagogues and asks that the third graders come up with their own ideas of what a synagogue could be. As long as it maintains the proper elements. What do you think of these beauties?

In the fall of 2009, the PJA middle school Student Advisory Committee held a Fall Dance in our Beit K'Nesset (Chapel). A very talented sixth grader, Zoe D-D, created the video invitation to entire her peers to attend. Check out that video right here.
This past October 18, 2009, PJA students, faculty and parents participated in the community wide Hand-to-Hand event benefitting more than 50 local charities and non-profits. Our 8th graders participated as part of their Capstone project, but many other middle school students participated as well. View a small slide show of our students in action.

Last fall, PJA hosted the Big Green Event - An afternoon focused on the environment and ways to be more environmentally friendly. Our students, parents, and guests had a wonderful time with all the hands on activities planned and provided by our wonderful teaching staff and special guests.
