K-8 Fall Opening
As you may know, Governor Brown held a press conference today about the re-opening of schools in September. She articulated new health metrics, developed by the Oregon Department of Education and the Oregon Health Authority, that must be met in order for schools to receive permission to offer in person learning. Based on these new requirements, PJA will begin with comprehensive distance learning only. There will be no in person learning at the start of the school year. We will monitor and re-assess our ability to offer hybrid learning as the COVID-19 infection rates and testing results change throughout the fall.
We will be sending another email with more details about our plans for the start of the school year before the end of the week. Thank you all for your patience and commitment as we all work to do what is in the best interest of our PJA kehillah (community).
