VOLUNTEER AT CEDAR SINAI PARK

Cedar Sinai Park is one of the jewels of Jewish Portland, a place where elders don't just live; they thrive. There currently is an urgent need for individuals, small groups, and families to help lead Kabbalat Shabbat Services on Friday evenings from 6-7pm and/or join residents in their living quarters for Shabbat blessings from 5-5:30. While some familiarity with the liturgy and blessings is encouraged, the most important requirement is being committed to bringing the joy of Shabbat to all those gathered; therefore cute kids and their adult family members are especially invited to participate as are older students who are approaching bar or bat mitzvah age or have recently marked this milestone. For more information about this very special opportunity, contact Cathy Zheutlin, Spiritual Life Coordinator: Cathy.Zheutlin@cedarsinaipark.org or 503 535-4038.
